Nothing you do not type. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising and no cookies. Nothing on these pages is loaded from another company’s server, not even the typefaces, which are served from here rather than from Google. Nobody outside this house learns that you visited.

The web server keeps an ordinary access log, the kind every web server keeps, recording which computer asked for which page. It is not joined to anything you type, and it is not used to build a picture of anyone.

When you press Send, your name, the way to reach you, the language you chose, what you wrote and whether you ticked the box for the letter travel over an encrypted connection to our own server. They are written straight into a private database that only we can open.

They are not emailed to anyone. The alert we receive says that a form was filled, and nothing else, so your name and your words never sit in an inbox or cross a mail server.

We keep an enquiry for three years from the last time we were in touch, then look at it again. Ask us to delete it at any point, before or after that, and we will, and we will tell you when it is gone. We do not sell it, we do not share it, and we do not use it for anything except replying to you.

The field takes an email address. Not a name, not anything else. It is kept in the same private database with the date you gave it, which is the record of your consent.

Every letter carries an unsubscribe link. One click, no questions asked. The address is then marked unsubscribed and stays marked, so that it can never be quietly added back.

We hold the list ourselves. If we ever use an outside service to send the letters, this page will name it before we do.
